At Orlando International Airport, Brightline and the Terminal Link to Terminals A and B both use the Train Station next to Terminal C. Brightline trains run between the airport and Miami, stopping in West Palm Beach, Boca Raton, Fort Lauderdale and Aventura. SunRail has no airport stop, so riders take a bus link from the Sand Lake Road station. The Train Station is also used by taxis, shuttle buses and public buses.
LYNX buses call only at official LYNX stops, which display a pink bus or pink paw plus the route number, known as a Link. Because some stops serve several routes, check the Link number and destination displayed on the bus front. Pull the cord ahead of your stop and get off through the rear door. LYMMO provides bus rapid transit downtown on its Orange, Lime and Grapefruit lines, while SunRail is a commuter rail system covering four counties.
Because operators cannot make change on LYNX buses, have the exact fare ready. For unlimited rides over a day, tell the operator you want an all-day pass before any money goes into the farebox. If you need more than one bus, request a transfer as you board; it is valid for 90 minutes, though it cannot be used on the same Link or for a return journey. LYNX Central Station, the website and the LYNX Paw Pass app are where seven-day and 30-day passes are sold.
Taxis pick up at Terminal C on the Arrivals Curb, Level 6, and at Terminals A and B on the Ground Transportation Curb, Level 1. The City of Orlando's Vehicle-for-Hire ordinance regulates airport taxis and requires taximeter-set fares. The airport states that flat rate fees are not authorized, which means the meter can show a different amount from the approximate rates listed on its page.
Uber, Lyft, Wingz and KreweCar are the ride-share companies Orlando International Airport lists as allowed to use its curbs. At Terminals A and B, pick-up is at the Level 2 Arrivals Curb at all hours; at Terminal C it is at the Level 6 Arrivals Curb. The Departures Curb on Level 3 at Terminals A and B can serve for pick-up too, but only during limited late-evening hours.
Florida's consumer department describes a free weekend or vacation offer tied to a high-pressure timeshare sales pitch; years afterwards a call may demand payment for a missed presentation. Also named are prize offers requiring payment of taxes or fees first, and online vacation rentals that do not exist. Its advice is to check the seller's registration, avoid hasty decisions and read the full contract before signing.
